Description

We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Responsibilities

•Work in synergy with our ISAs and real estate agents, educating them on available loan programs.
•Deliver swift, competent responses to our in-house Realtor and builder referrals.
•Follow up promptly on inbound leads and collaborate with our ISAs and agents on each lead.
•Make full use of our company-provided CRM system, ensuring it remains updated.
•Engage with applicants promptly, providing insightful, consultative mortgage options.
•Review rates, costs, and program options and keep all stakeholders informed of transaction status.
•Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
•Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
•Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
•Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to
•Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs

Qualifications

•NMLS #, Licensed loan officer.
•Proven history of originating purchase loans.
•Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed mortgage originator.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Willingness to use video conferencing daily.
•A college degree is strongly preferred.
•Proficient technical skills (Microsoft or Google Suite, experience using a CRM to manage leads, etc.)
•Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
•Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
•Multiple years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
•Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred
•Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related field
