Contract Pharmacist

We are seeking a Florida Licensed Pharmacist for a contract position in Florida. This position is clinical focused and will be helping the hospital through their go live and Epic implementation. Epic experience is a must and you must be able to start by August 18th and be onsite weekly - no exceptions. Untaxed stipends will be included for anyone outside of 50 miles.

Contract will be for 12 weeks minimum - through November 2024.

$4,000 to $4,300 per week gross pay

Education

  • Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Must be a current registered pharmacist in the state of Florida, board certification.
  • Good interpersonal communication with physicians, nurses, etc
  • Work as a team player
  • MUST HAVE Epic experience - certifications a huge plus

Position Summary

  • Under the supervision of the Manager of Pharmacy, performs all duties necessary to provide effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs. This includes compounding, labeling and dispensing of medication and IV admixtures. Supervises pharmacy technicians in all work areas.
  • Provide clinical services to enhance medication administration and therapeutic outcomes
  • Provide clinical drug information to meet the needs of the healthcare staff
  • Participation in appropriate committees
  • Provide support for department education including residents, interns, and students
  • Require up to 25% variable staff rotation to meet department needs including evenings and weekends
