Job Description:

Fintech Regulatory Analyst will be focused on the onboarding and initial maintenance including auditing of fintech platforms and their end users. You will have a deep understanding of the front-to-end customer due diligence process and be well versed within fintech banking. The Regulatory Analyst will demonstrate strong competent knowledge with current regulatory requirements and relevant financial industry knowhow concerning the Customer Due Diligence standards.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure fintech's are onboarded in a regulatory compliant manner.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all things regulatory including Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, disclosures, terms and conditions, website, and app review, etc.
  • Understand fintech platform structures and validate documentation to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Identify potential AML concerns and escalate to appropriate senior management during the onboarding and ongoing review process.
  • Manage multiple expectations of business partners and customer facing sales team.
  • Respond to client enquiries, assisting on client calls when necessary.
  • Engage directly with clients in region and assist with platform queries.
  • Serve as the audit lead.
Education and Experience:
  • At least 5-7 years of experience of banking regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of standard AML/BSA requirements including The Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
  • Experience of analyzing complex company legal structures.
  • Experience with PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse Media screening.
Key Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements of banks and their customers.
  • Experience conducting routine audits.
  • Strong understanding of regulations including BSA, Reg E, disclosures, terms and conditions, website and app review.
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines / set targets.
  • Dedication to resolve pending queries or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience onboarding both U.S. based and foreign platforms.
  • Experience in implementation of new KYC processes.
  • A motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, open-plan environment.
