**Description**

The Warehouse Clerk will assist and support the warehouse department with daily administrative activities related to branch operation.

**Responsibilities:**

* Process billing runs including labeling and including packing lists for cross docking if required

* Routing of freight orders, including bills of laden preparation and labeling for common carrier shipments

* Sort freight bills by category, run driver manifests, set delivery appointments.

* Interact with purchasing, customer service staff as required

* Assign orders to warehouse selectors and monitor load progression.

* Coordinate shipping dock. Prepare and assign loads to loaders.

* Maintain spreadsheets for customer pick ups and OS&D's

* Package and process UPS orders

* Maintain and organize sample items inventory.

* Analyze multiple reports for Supervisor.

* Assist Shipping Supervisor in maintaining daily workflow of Shipping Department.

* Other duties as assigned

***Requirements:***

* High School/GED education required

* Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties with speed and accuracy under limited supervision

* Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred

* AS400/iSeries experience preferred.

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

* Self-starter with the ability to multi-task projects

* Ability to answer a heavy volume of phone calls from both internal and external customers

* Must be detail-orientated problem solver

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Leadership skills
