As a full-stack software engineer at Cleanlab, you will be building Cleanlab Studio , a user-friendly web app powered by our data-centric ML algorithms. You’ll work on everything from scalable backend systems for data ingestion, model training, and data analysis to beautiful and easy-to-use interfaces for data visualization, interpretation, and correction, and improvement of datasets. No previous ML/AI experience is required, but bonus points if you have previously worked on ML/AI or data platforms. The ideal candidate has experience building end-to-end solutions, across the software stack, understanding cost/performance tradeoffs. The ability to debug and optimize across the whole stack is essential and likely involves extensive experience with unit and integration testing. Responsibilities

Work closely with designers, cloud engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to implement full-stack solutions. Deliver innovative, engaging web applications using the latest in both front-end and back-end technologies. Collaborate with other engineers to build streamlined systems and help establish a strong engineering culture across the company. Qualifications

Stipend for attending conferences to keep up with the latest innovations in ML and software. Competitive salary (+ equity offering for certain roles), with regular opportunities for a raise if things are going well. The compensation range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000. The final offer details are determined by several factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the pay range provided. About Us

Prior to Cleanlab, our founders (3 ML PhDs from MIT) worked at OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, AWS, Facebook AI Research (FAIR), Dropbox, Oculus, Palantir, NASA, General Electric, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, MIT, Harvard, and Stanford – at every place we worked we repeatedly encountered the same issue – AI solutions failed to work reliably on real-world, human-centric data due to label errors

and poor data quality. So, we spent eight years of PhD research at MIT inventing a new field
