Apprentice MachinistWeir MineralsSt Louis, MOOnsitePurpose of Role: Apprenticeships are a time honored tradition in the skilled trades and are proven to be an excellent training method. Throughout the program the apprentices are given periodic reviews and wage increases based on performance and at the end of the 8,000 hours, the apprentice will be at the final hourly wage established in the offer letter as long as performance requirements are met. At that point, they will be a class B Machinist, per Weir Minerals St. Louis guidelines. Machinists with experience also benefit from serving in our apprenticeship program.
