You’ll deliver comprehensive training on business strategies, sales techniques, customer relations, and computer skills. Your expertise will guide franchise owners in route preparation, including surveying and maintaining a robust list of calls (LOCs). You’ll also play a pivotal role in merchandising the mobile store, employing affinity grouping methods as outlined through policy. This position requires positioning/lifting heavily weighted Matco toolboxes and other product items in a display area and/or in the customer work environment. International and national travel is a specific characteristic of this position. WHAT YOU WILL DO Conduct personalized coaching using the Matco Business System (MBS), covering software, sales, customer service, product promotions, and business management. Monitor and report the progress of new franchise distributors, ensuring they meet the training playbook criteria. Offer targeted performance improvement coaching to enhance business success and longevity. Support existing distributors with business reviews, route surveys, and distributor tune-up training. Lead the implementation of the sales funnel process and provide sales management support for new product delivery. Motivate and manage franchise distributors, ensuring they’re well-versed in Matco products and POS initiatives. Handle the training budget and assist distributors in positioning tools and equipment (including toolboxes) and lifting or moving heavy objects of 75 pounds or more above their heads. Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree holder in Adult Education, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is essential. A seasoned professional with a strong sales and marketing background, capable of traveling 80%+ of the time. A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience is preferred, with a proven track record in customer account management. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in PC software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Compensation: The base salary for this position is $60,000 per annum, with an annual bonus target of $10,000.
