Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant
Reports to: Controller
Department: Accounting
Status: Full-time; Exempt
Duties Include:
* Assist with balance sheet and general ledger maintenance and accuracy for multiple entities
* Review journal entries and ensure proper supporting documentation
* Assist with invoice review and responsible for ledger posting
* Prepare weekly cash forecast and manage cash outflows
* Prepare monthly account reconciliation and utilize consolidation software
* Responsible for KPI reporting related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
* Maintain lease schedules and agreements as well as utilize specific lease software
* Backup support for AP and treasury functions
* Assist with various audit and information requests
* Adherence to internal control policies and procedures
* Assist in monthly close process including details account variance analysis
* Review and reconcile weekly payroll entries

Requirements:
* 4-year accounting degree, 3+ total years' experience
Preferred Experience:
* Construction accounting or percentage of completion accounting
* Intermediate Excel skills and ability to learn new software programs
* CPA or equivalent master's degree in accounting (not a requirement)
* Sage 300 CRE accounting
* LeaseQuery lease management
* Workiva data management
* FloQast account reconciliation
