Assistant Project Manager - Self-Perform Division - Masonry Join the self-perform division of one of the Mid-Atlantic's top General Contractors Competitive base salary, lucrative bonus potential, & more Our client is one of the mid-Atlantic's top General Contractors. They are family-owned and have been in business for over 50 years. They have multiple offices throughout the area, with the majority of their work located between Northern VA and Richmond. Their bread and butter is Multifamily construction with the majority of their projects valued between $30 and $100M, however they have completed projects worth $200M+. They have been consistently growing in headcount and revenue year over year and as a result are looking to grow their team. They are currently looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager for their self-perform masonry division. Job Description The Assistant Project Manager - Self-Perform Division - Masonry will be responsible for: Assisting in planning and scheduling masonry activities to meet project timelines. Coordinating with field supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure material availability and workflow efficiency. Tracking project progress, updating schedules, and reporting to the Project Manager. Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders while maintaining accurate documentation. Monitoring quality and safety compliance on-site and addressing issues promptly. Supporting cost control efforts by reviewing invoices and assisting with budget tracking. Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to align expectations. The Successful Applicant The Assistant Project Manager - Self-Perform Division - Masonry will have: 2-4 years of experience in construction project coordination or management, preferably with masonry or self-perform work. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
