Pay: $28.93, commensurate with experience

What you'll get to do in this role:

Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, scheduling and participating in interviews, processing background screenings, and coordination of the offer letter in conjunction with the Hiring Manager and HR Director.

Conduct onboarding of newly hired employees through the HRIS system. Coordinate monthly new hire meeting.

Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

Coordinate the Leave of Absence process including both FMLA and personal leave of absence.

Administers the Worker's Compensation program and submits claims to the insurance carrier

Maintains the Learning Management System and coordinates organizational wide mandatory training course. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory training, continuing education, and license and certifications.

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Maintains compliance with federal & state employment laws and regulations.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

You're an excellent fit, if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar degree preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, CHRM-CSP, CHR, or CHHR preferred
  • minimum of 2 years experience in human resources
  • customer service experience preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflice resolution skills
  • exellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • good time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks
  • ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and conffidentiality
  • thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
