Basic Qualifications:

Universal Banker I: Transaction

Education/Training:A high school diploma or equivalent; college education in related field preferred but not required.

Experience: One or more years' experience in a professional customer service/cash handling and/or financial services environment.

Universal Banker II: Transaction and Deposit

Education/Training: Completion of The Dime Bank's Universal Banker I curriculum with passing test scores and demonstrated proficiency/mentoring. An associate degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience: Two years' experience in a professional customer service/cash handling and/or financial services environment.

Universal Banker III: Transaction, Deposit and Loans

Education/Training: Completion of The Dime Bank's Universal Banker II curriculum with passing test scores and demonstrated proficiency/mentoring. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience: More than three years' experience in a professional customer service/cash handling and/or financial services environment.

General Responsibilities: A Universal Banker does it all - processes customer transactions, opens new accounts, and guides customers through the loan process and other financial services. Our Universal Bankers are known for friendly customer service, building relationships, and making The Dime Bank stand out Universal Bankers work together with other branches and teams to provide the ultimate customer experience

Skills/Key Competencies (UB I, UB II, UB III):

Competencies: Our Universal Banking program allows you to thrive in an individual capacity while participating effectively in a team environment as you learn banking transactions and deposit and loan products. Understand the financial services industry - and keep up with its evolution, adapt and change as needed; be results driven, decisive, resilient, perseverant, approachable, and influential. Skills: Clearly communicates in English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills. Demonstrates or develops a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; working knowledge of account maintenance; proficient knowledge of bank retail products and services, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products.

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: Full-Time = 38-40. Part-Time = Less than 30.

Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday and will include rotating Friday Nights and Saturdays.
