Job Title: Trainer Coordinator

Department: Project Management, Facilities & Engineering

Reports to: Senior Project Manager

Location: Midway

Travel: Required as Needed

JOB SUMMARY:

The Equipment Training Coordinator supports Trulieve’s Facilities & Engineering department via the National Project Management Team to organizing, scheduling, and manage all equipment training sessions. This role is key to ensuring that employees receive the necessary training to excel in their roles and comply with industry standards and that we have proper documentation of said training.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions for employees across all departments.
  • Communicate with trainers and participants to confirm availability and logistics.
  • Maintain and update the training calendar to ensure no conflicts arise.
  • Prepare training materials and resources, ensuring they are available and up to date.
  • Track and report on training attendance and completion.
  • Assist in developing training programs and improving existing training processes.
  • Support trainers during sessions with administrative tasks, such as sign-in sheets, feedback forms, etc.
  • Handle training-related inquiries and provide support to employees.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience with manufacturing equipment Training installation and maintenance, industrial processes, or equivalent experience.
  • High School Diploma with completion of Trade School, Apprenticeship, or relevant Military Experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Deep knowledge of cannabis processing equipment and processes (including flower processing, extraction, packaging, and more).
  • Ability to travel given best notice possible.
  • High level knowledge of maintenance and installation best practices, equipment vendors & types, and cannabis manufacturing.
  • Background in troubleshooting equipment is a plus.
  • Proven leadership qualities/track record and ability to navigate and communicate with colleagues, contractors, and vendors across many disciplines.
  • Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Well versed in maintenance safety protocols including PPE and LOTO.
  • Ability to identify unsafe situations and work with team leads onsite to mitigate risks.
  • Strong communication skills: Verbal, Electronic, and Written.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Valid drivers license, ability to manage travel schedule including domestic flights and hotel stays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, Per State law.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis; and working in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
