Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Hematology & Oncology-NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Mason City, IA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Oct 1, 2023 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8-9 hrs/day - Half a day on Tues or varies - Open to 4 or 4.5 days/week • Patient Demographics: Adult & Geriatric • Patient Volume (OP): 12-16 • Patient Volume (IP): Very rare • % of Practice: 50% Hem; 50% Onc • Physicians in Practice: 2 Rad Onco; 4 APPs • Required Procedures: - Mgmt of VAD/CV Catheters & Intrathecal Chemo • Required Duties: - Participation on a Tumor Board - Orders Tests and Images - Prescribes • Trauma Level: III • EMR: Mosaiq • Other Info: - Nurse administers chemo according to the orders from the physician. - Outpatient survivorship clinic & genetics clinic. - Available at least 4 days/week • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active IA License/IMLC • BC/BE • BLS • Must have Oncology experience
