Banking Product Manager

Banking Product Lead As a Banking Product Lead at AngelList, you will own the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our banking products. This role is central to strengthening the financial infrastructure that powers the venture ecosystem. You'll work across internal teams and external partners to enhance existing banking integrations, launch new banking capabilities, and build a best-in-class money movement platform tailored to investors, and fund administrators. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and scaling partner relationships to expand the breadth of our banking offering. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role that sits at the intersection of product, finance, operations, and strategic partnerships, ideal for someone who combines deep financial systems knowledge with product ownership and market-driven execution. Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end product roadmap for AngelList's banking systems, with a focus on growing balances. Risk-manage and optimize our current banking stack and integrations for resiliency, cost efficiency, and scalability. Build redundancy and tail-risk mitigations, taking ownership of third-party (TP) banking partner contingency strategies. Source, evaluate, and onboard new banking partners to improve coverage, rates, and platform robustness. Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, accounting, fund admin, legal, compliance, and investor relations, to align product capabilities with operational realities. Develop and maintain high-impact relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring product fit and proactive resolution of friction. Drive growth by identifying and closing high-value opportunities with new customers and strategic partners. You Might Be a Fit If You: Have 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, banking ops, or fintech, preferably with exposure to B2B financial infrastructure or banking integrations. Are fluent in financial systems, banking APIs, and the mechanics of money movement. Thrive in high-ownership environments and are motivated by ambitious growth outcomes. Combine a strategic mindset with deep operational empathy, you can zoom out to roadmap while also sweating the integration details. Have a bias for action, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to drive progress across multiple teams. Compensation: The compensation for this role consists of a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity package. The base salary for this role is $230,000+ annually but actual will vary based on a number of factors including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location.
