We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our Orlin & Cohen team as an Authorization Representative. Ideally candidates have knowledge of authorization rules and regulations as well as healthcare and insurance experience. _Full-Time Opportunity _ _Monday - Friday (8:30am-5pm)_ _\Fully IN-PERSON Position\_ _\Previous insurance and authorization experience REQUIRED _ _\Experience with radiology CPT codes, medical background, Insurance knowledge preferred_ _Authorization Representative_ Obtain authorizations for several departments and medical procedures. _Candidate responsibilities include:_ · Initiates request for MRI Injection Authorization from commercial carriers. · Updates and records authorization related information in our system. · Perform clinical reviews of authorization requests. · Provides accurate and complete documentation to approve MRI Injections requests. · Collaborate with applicable staff to coordinate patient care. · Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulation. _Candidate Attributes:_ Problem Solving Skills: You have a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Organizational skills: You have exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills that will aid in account follow-up. _Required experience and Qualifications:_ · High School Diploma or equivalent GED. · Minimum of one year healthcare or insurance office experience required. · Prior Authorization experience preferred · Excellent oral, written, computer and customer service skills. \The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
