We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at a growing cancer program in Miami, Florida. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a thriving academic department focused on medical dermatology, particularly skin cancer and clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development and growth of the Dermatology Department.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent in the field of dermatology.
- Oversee all clinical, research, and educational activities within the department.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment for faculty and staff.
- Secure funding for research and departmental initiatives.
- Represent the department within the hospital and the broader medical community.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified Dermatologist with a Florida medical license.
- Proven leadership experience in an academic department, preferably at the Associate Professor/Professor level.
- Demonstrated expertise in medical dermatology, especially skin cancer and clinical trials.
- Strong research and publication record.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
