Empath Health is currently seeking a CNA to join our team.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Under the direction of a registered nurse, the CNA is responsible for providing personal care and tasks related to the activities of daily living.The Aide should be able to respond sensitively to patient/family needs by observing and reporting any changes, including physical, spiritual, social and emotional, to a registered nurse.The CNA must report changes in the patient's medical, nursing, rehabilitative, and social needs to a registered nurse, as the changes relate to the plan of care.Qualifications/Requirements:Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.Licensure:Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).Valid Florida State Driver's LicenseValid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.Demonstrated experience in caring for the terminally ill and others with life threatening illnesses is preferred.For field-based positions, employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.Empath Health values diversity as it strengthens our community and care.
