Job Description Description: The Creative Director should be a proven creative manager who can think strategically, execute bold solutions, and lead a team of creative and production experts. This great attention to detail, healthcare marketing expertise, and creative and production savvy will create success in assigned workstreams and ensure that everyone meets expectations, deadlines, and budget constraints.
The Creative Director must be an expert in writing and translating client briefs to deliver high-quality results across the spectrum of media—from print to digital and presentations. This role entails being a nimble problem-solver who masters our processes and project management software, can communicate with team members worldwide, and ensures everyone meets our Xavier Creative House standards.
This role is heavily influenced by the demands of fast-paced agency life with equal importance on creativity, being on-brand and on-time, and considering regulatory guidelines in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Biotech industries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leader within the creative department and oversee major campaigns/projects
Provide art direction, feedback and guidance to teams
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop creative strategies and solutions
Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and objectives
Oversee and execute design for presentations, print, digital, and other media
Develop and execute innovative concepts from ideation to completion
Ensure department and project budget and resources are met
Establish production schedules and prioritize workstreams
Ensure responsible data management practices are followed
Foster vendor relationships that uphold sustainable values
Continuously develop creative skills and leadership abilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage and lead the creative team
Requirements:
Qualifications
Expertise with design software including Adobe Creative Suite
Extensive creative project management experience
Exceptional leadership, collaboration and presentation skills
Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
Deep understanding of healthcare marketing and regulations
Commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility
Ability to effectively manage teams, timelines and budgets
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing or related field
5+ years experience in senior creative roles
Physical Requirements
This remote role demands extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear speech and hearing. Candidates must manage a quiet, ergonomic workspace with reliable internet access.
