Summary

Primary focus is to collaborate with Growth Opportunity Owners and Delivery to develop accurate pro forma budgets that achieve profitability goals.

This position will support our Business Planning & Analysis team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

Dallas, TX Las Vegas, NV Chicago, IL Orlando, FL

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Pro Forma: Review historical event data and SOW requirements with Growth team and build pro forma budgets in the Finance Budget Application or Excel based worksheet Review proposed exhibitor pricing vs Freeman branch standard rates and identify variance(s) Ensure that all proposed concessions are clearly defined and incorporated into pro forma Develop estimated cost of sales using revenue projections, event history and branch run rates Review branch and facility event schedules to identify equipment rollovers between events and incorporate cost savings into pro forma Present pro forma via Zoom/Teams to Growth team and appropriate branch leaders; make adjustments as needed Maintain tracking sheet to ensure visibility of pro forma status Incorporate cost savings and efficiency concepts into pro forma budgets Develop proficiency in using and interpreting all applicable internal reporting systems Review historical and YTD expense metrics with finance team to ensure accuracy of pro forma Support strategic pricing analysis to ensure profitability is maximized across renewal and new bid opportunities Assist in various projects as needed within the Finance department, regional branches and senior leadership Visit show site as needed to engage with local production and traveling account teams, identify opportunities for operational improvement for future events Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Requires a bachelor's degree 5 – 8 years industry experience in a related field Strong analytical skills and experience presenting concepts and recommendations to various audiences Must have strong project management skills, excellent communication skills (written and virtual) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills
