Key Functional Areas:

Coordinate the operation of the raw material warehouse functions

Lead and manage the warehouse team

Manage the warehouse environment in terms of housekeeping, safety, hygiene and security

Implement stock control best practices / processes to ensure inventory accuracy

Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure OTIF assembly of material for the production departments

Monitor and evaluate daily employee performance to provide data support for performance assessments

Ensure employees understand and comply with policies, procedures and expectations

Generate and review operational reports / statistics

Perform administrative duties as required

Perform incident investigations

Required Knowledge:

Degree in Logistics/ Supply chain or equivalent

Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG

Minimum 5 years supervisory experience

Knowledge of distribution, warehouse, shipping, receiving functions

Excellent communication, leadership, organization and customer service skills

Excellent administration skills

Proactive nature with good business sensibility

Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced working environment

Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (Syspro)

Computer literacy- Office 365 (Excel Advanced)

Own transport

Personal Characteristics:

Good timekeeping and attendance

Ability to earn the respect of and lead the team

Attention to detail when performing tasks

Ability to multi-task

Good time management

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Good communication skills (verbal and written)
