Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Acquisition Policy Analyst to support our federal customer in Arlington, VA. This is a part-time position. Responsibilities The position will support a Department of Defense headquarters office with the implementation of policies, strategies, and initiatives related to defense acquisition and contracting. Responsibilities may include: Assisting with stakeholder engagement, to include management of the contracting awards program, exchange program, and website content; Supporting new requirements arising from the Adminsitration's policy agenda, including actions that come via Executive Orders; Drafting, editing, coordinating and providing configuration management support for reports, memorandums of record, briefings or other deliverables in support of requirements and Congressional mandates; Developing and delivering briefings as required to provide the results of analysis performed. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree or higher 10 years or more of work experience in acquisition, contracting, policy, logistics, or related field 5 years or more of experience interpreting and applying DoD and other federal government acquisition policies, regulations and guidance This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level.
