In addition, this individual will assist in overseeing data and reporting initiatives related to the ambulatory, clinical, and rev cycle operations and workflow optimization within Epic by working with the Mass General Brigham eCare team members and representing the perspective of the covered institutions' respective teams.

May also support other site-managed systems as required.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport Mass General Brigham (MGB) Enterprise Data Warehouse and the Digital Health eCare organization by:o Working with MEE and MGB analytics teams to coordinate the optimization and organization of reporting specific issues.• Provide end user support and issue analysis for the MGB ambulatory/optime/cadence rev cycle and clinical teams and their leadership.• Develop and support reporting to meet customer business and clinical requirements.• Design and support SQL Report Writing and integration with Tableau using vendor and other toolsets.• Oversee and Participate in creation and implementation of project plans that rely on data extraction as it pertains to related initiatives and upgrades.• Help support applications team with build, testing, and QA for new and existing MEE sites, including oversight in data conversion activities.• Provide project management, as it pertains to reporting, in planning for and testing of Epic upgrades and new site go-live activities.• Participate in planning for and testing of new functionality rollouts.• Work closely with representatives from areas assigned to gather and review requirements, develop reporting solutions, design and build for resolving issues that arise.• Work effectively with matrixed project teams across many functional areas to achieve organizational goals.• Oversee the tracking and monitoring of issues and action items• Recognizes, communicates, and escalates concerns relevant to critical path and/or timeline in a timely manner.• Documents and analyzes business processes• Manages the creation and maintenance of system/report design and build documents• Attends weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.• Collaborates with reporting team; shares expertise by mentoring, coaching and giving general direction to other teammates.• Other duties as requiredWorking Conditions• Flexible Hybrid Office environment with local travel to other Mass General Brigham sites; including routine exposure to clinical areas• Off-site pager coverage for support as assigned.• Must be able to provide adequate transportation to and between work locations.• As projects and priorities dictate, must be available to work non-standard business hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays if/when necessary.QualificationsSkills/Abilities/Competencies Required/PreferredBachelors’ Degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field is required.Three years of experience in hospital and/or clinical operations in one or more of the following areas: computer systems, reporting applications and tools, such as Tableau, SQL or equivalentPrevious experience with Epic products is preferred.Strong technical skills required with programmatic knowledge of Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite with particular focus strong Excel skills.Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, with high level of attention to detailSelf-motivated, independent and able to learn quickly and be flexible in a multi-site environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects within timelinesAbility to work effectively with individuals from all levels of the organization and to promote positive team environmentKnowledge of clinical concepts, common clinical terms, clinical procedures and workflow strongly preferredAbility to document reporting development and workflowsBasic understanding of healthcare billing workflows and terminology preferred.Previous experience working with electronic health record data preferred.Experience working with Epic is preferredA willingness to learn, be flexible, and adaptable in day to day activitiesDiversity Statement As a not-for-profit organization, Mass General Brigham is committed to supporting patient care, research, teaching, and service to the community.  We place great value on being a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization as we aim to reflect the diversity of the patients we serve.
