We're currently seeking a Senior Operational Risk Analyst to join our Risk and Credit Group for a hybrid opportunity. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting the organization with the identification, classification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of operational and investment risks. Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk Management, you'll collaborate closely with other members of the Risk Management team to provide Management with a consistent and accurate view of identified risks.

The successful candidate will be expected to work independently while also collaborating with senior Risk Management staff as needed. You'll be involved in the design, development, implementation, and communication of operational risk-related policies and procedures, and will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the organization's risk exposure on both a day-to-day and long-term basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and utilizing analytical templates and reports to support risk management through internally used tools and vendor-provided software. Collecting data, performing critical and statistical analysis, drafting executive-level reports, and advising senior management and governing bodies, including the Operational Risk Committees. Collaborating with business partners across the organization to discuss, identify, document, and assist with risk remediation. Focusing on process improvements, incident reporting, and resolution. Delivering projects as both an individual contributor and project lead, translating high-level goals and objectives into actions and tasks. Providing support by documenting material reviews and determining the sufficiency of action items assigned to different areas of the organization. Offering guidance and feedback to review solutions with key stakeholders. Participating in and potentially leading special projects. Performing other tasks and duties as required and assigned.

Experience and Skills: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Business or related fields. 5+ years of experience in Risk & Credit, preferably in a financial institution. 2-3 years of experience in Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, with Compliance or Legal Department experience, or with a Big-Four firm is a plus. Active Series 7 License Preferred. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to produce professional documents ready for presentation to executive 'C-Level' management. Ability to work as a liaison between Operational Risk Management, Business lines, and IT Teams. Must be a Team Player and possess the ability to 'Wear Different Hats' as needed. Strong Organizational skills, Detail-Oriented, with the ability to multitask and excellent time management skills. Knowledge of compliance laws, FINRA rules & regulations, risks and controls, as well as understanding of Financial Services, Wealth Management, and Capital Markets operational processes and investment types. Demonstrated ability in discussing a broad range of business issues in the context of operational risk. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
