POSITION SUMMARY

The Vault Attendant will work with management and sales to provide accurate up-to-minute product availability information to store patrons. This position will require active communication to ensure orders are filled accurately and all inventory is accounted for. This position will require quick thinking, communication, and cannabis product knowledge. Vault Attendants are the anchor to ensuring that the entire team is equipped for service. Vault Attendants need to accurately fill orders, communicate with all staff on product availability, and maintain an awareness of the cannabis products available at the dispensary location.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the quality control of all retail cannabis products.
  • Ensure compliant, accessible storage of all cannabis products.
  • Confirm all labels are current and compliant, re-label as necessary.
  • Develop, maintain, and follow the standard operating procedures of inventory control.
  • Manage all quarantined products as dictated by the Cannabis Control Commission.
  • Manage the compliant life cycle of all retail cannabis products; organize the vault and maintain visual library of product locations.
  • Provide real time reporting of inventory par levels; forecast inventory needs using all available data.
  • Perform routine audits to confirm all inventory is present.
  • Manage compliance using the METRC cannabis tracking system.
  • Facilitate the intake of cannabis products.
  • Manage all returned cannabis, accessories, and other merchandise.
  • Continue education regarding new and existing products; demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
  • Contribute to the dispensary's overall sales and service goals.
  • Ensures the store is replenished throughout the day, arranges merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events to company standard.
  • Appropriately greets and answers customer questions via phone, in-person, or any other modality.
  • Participates in inventory preparation, execution, and follow-up.
  • Responsible for overall store cleanliness including cash wrap, vault, backroom, break areas, restrooms, and sales floor.
  • Operates within regulatory standards set by CCC and state/local authority.
  • Comply with CCC Agent Card renewal, annual CORI check and annual RVT training.
  • Continue education regarding new and existing products; demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
  • All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATONS
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of inventory control and/or retail experience; cannabis experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cannabis strains, consumption methods, effects and trends
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment working with a diverse range of colleagues and customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at minimum 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass all background checks, and receive approval for CCC Agent Card.
  • Night and weekend availability.
  • Reliable Transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work directly with and around cannabis products, including but not limited to, fresh cannabis plant material, dried cannabis plant material, processed cannabis plant material, cannabis concentrates and cannabis derived oil.
  • Able to stand for 6 hours or more, with ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 25lbs.
