IT Cloud Administrator

LaSalle Network has partnered with a global machinery manufacturing company to find a talented IT Cloud Administrator to guide their cloud migration and maintain the environment post migration. This individual will advise the organization on cloud best practices and facilitate knowledge transfer to team members. This is a direct hire permanent position fully onsite in Hoffman Estates, IL.

IT Cloud Administrator Responsibilities:

• Oversee system operations, contribute to design and maintain the cloud environment
  
• Engage in projects aimed at designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with strategic growth
  
• Establish a cohesive cloud platform based on best practices, and providing highly technical OS support
  
• Craft a modernization roadmap to meet both business and IT requirements, ensuring the technical feasibility of new projects and their successful deployment by coordinating key resources
  
• Utilize a diverse range of infrastructure technologies-including Cloud Services, Windows and Linux IaaS, CICD, DevOps, Storage and Networking-to design and support a highly effective and efficient cloud environment
  
• Create documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to other team members

IT Cloud Administrator Requirements:

• Prior Azure migration experience, capable of serving as a technical lead in an Azure migration
  
• Experience with the following technologies: Azure, O365, Active Directory, Exchange online, Windows Server, VMWare
