Primary Function

Serve as the knowledge expert and oversee the development and implementation of various finance system projects to streamline process and align reporting across the company. Manage and administer the Cadency system ensuring proper internal controls are adhered to.

Key Deliverables

Manage Cadency system administration for close, certification and JE, and Compliance including maintaining user access. Ensure proper controls are in place and data reviews are conducted timely. BS reconciliation system administration for system/account setup, issue resolution, statistic report generation and reconciliation/close/JE and Compliance status reporting etc. Train and work with Regional Administrators in Cadency Serve as the financial lead for various Financial Systems software implementations ensuring global alignment of data and standardization of processes across company. Performs day-to-day tool maintenance of the Cadency tool, ensuring that operational tasks are managed and provided in accordance with established service levels and supporting the release of tool updates from end-to-end. Assist manager to streamline and improve the monthly financial reporting cycle, including improving system processes and simplifying general ledger transactions Ensure Desk Top Procedures (DTP’s) are written and current for all job functions and that they comply with internal control policies. Develop and maintain working relationships business partners both at SSC’s and Global business units that will help facilitate effective communication of business needs. Willingness to learn foundations of process optimization techniques. Able to develop and implement local and global processes. Ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks with leadership team. Train and develop new staff in the department as needed.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 1 - 3 years of significant relevant experience in fast paced accounting department Orange belt certified highly preferred Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint etc). Experience with SAP ECC and BPC Consolidation a plus Cadency Experience a plus Foreign language – Spanish a plus
