Description This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. While onboarding and comprehensive professional development will be provided, candidates must successfully complete our mandatory 48-hour mammography training course prior to commencing employment. Required qualifications: * Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). * upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist. * upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. * upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists * within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography. * Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
