Summary
Answer, screen, and direct calls. Greet vendors, customers, and visitors. Provide administrative support to the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Answers and screens telephone calls in a professional and timely manner; takes accurate messages with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy
- Exercises considerable judgement and discretion in handling requests for appointments and telephone calls
- Reviews and responds to daily internal/external mail and overnight packages; sends and receives faxes
- Proactively establishes and maintains highly organized filing system, files correspondence and other records
- Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, copying, faxing and mailing
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Attendance and punctuality imperative
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Acute attention to detail
- Manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- High School Diploma
- 1 - 2 years of administrative and receptionist experience.
