Description

Licensed Professional Counselor at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (Part time , Day Shift 8:30am to 4pm)

The Licensed Professional Counselor practices in a treatment setting under clinical supervision and is dedicated to evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The Licensed Professional Counselor will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients. This position will provide specialized psychotherapy services, as described in the CPT, to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related field
  • Upon hire: Oregon Professional Counselor License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year: Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship.
  • Additional experience in substance use treatment setting.
