About the RN Assistant Manager, Emergency

Serves as the RN Assistant Manager, Emergency for abusy and growing 45+ bed ED that saw over 45,000 patient visits in 2021

The position will manage the daily operational flow, mentor and coach the Charge RN team, participate in interviewing/hiring, perform rounding with Charge RN’s, ensure compliance, and assist clinically in times of very high census

Reports to a collaborative ED Managerand will be well supported by a team of Charge Nurses and a Department Educator

ADAPTABLE and INSPIRATIONAL leader

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Minimum three (3) years of Emergency Department / ER / ED nursing experience, preferably as a Nursing Preceptor/Educator and/or Charge RN

Active RN license

CEN is a plus
