Lake Superior Warehousing has an exciting opportunity in the transportation and warehousing field and is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Accounting Associate for our Duluth MN office. The ideal candidate for this position must have the ability to multi-task to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. The candidate should possess strong organizational skills, strong problem?solving skills and keen attention to detail. The individual should be highly motivated, functioning well both within a team and independently. It is imperative that the candidate be a quick learner. This position provides administrative support to the Director of Finance. Responsibilities Payroll processing, review, enter and process payroll Accounts payable review and entry Accounts receivableprepare and process invoices, apply payments and assist in Collections Credit card processingassist in collecting receipts, process monthly transactions Data entry for job inventories Sort, file and log documents as necessary Input data from various sources (WMS to Financial software) Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications High School degree or equivalent AP/AR work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs and database software Ability to consistently be accurate, thorough, and detailed Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Must be able to multi?task & prioritize Provide excellent day?to?day support and problem?solve Desired Skills 3+ years AP/AR, Payroll and/or billing clerk experience Proficient in Excel Hours: Normal hours are M?F 8?5 Lake Superior Warehousing offers a competitive total compensation package. In addition to base pay, benefits include health, vacation and 401k. This is a full?time salaried position. Pay based on experience 45K?55K. LSW is a safety sensitive working environment.
