Rural medical facility located in Northern California is seeking a Medical Director. The Director will oversee a primary care clinic. This is an FQHC which also has two other independent offices and each has a Medical Director with a total of 35 employees.
Responsibilities will be to treat patients, oversee the primary care office, review charts, attend leadership meetings and oversee quality improvement.

.Qualifications for this position are Board Certification in Family Practice Medicine, Leadership/experience, a California license and an interest in working in a rural healthcare environment.
100% Out Patient practice
Patient volume is approx 20 patients per day
Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with one day for Admin
Call is light by phone and shared with the group
Excellent salary

The Medical facility is located along highway 101 North of San Francisco. Right in the heart of California Redwood Country. The town is best known for its history as a lumber mill which is still in use today. Off the beaten path this beautiful area boasts of amazing parks and hiking trails, redwood forests and easy small town living.
