Our client is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer for their Escondido office for work in San Diego county.Job Responsibilities:Perform and manage geotechnical engineering studiesInterface with Client to determine project needsPrepare scopes of services, proposals, and budget estimatesCoordinate and supervise staff and subcontractorsAnalyze field and laboratory dataPrepare geotechnical engineering reportsOther duties include geotechnical plan review, earthwork project management, and attending project design and construction meetings.Qualifications:B.S. in Civil Engineering required Master s degree preferredCalifornia PE registration is required, GE registration is required or can be obtained within 1-2 years5 or more years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related discipline preferredCalifornia project experience preferredMust possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilitiesAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environmentValid California Driver s License and clean DMV report are a mustWilling to market to new clients
