Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Deliver financial data, analysis, and assistance to different stakeholders as needed.
Help ensure that the month-end financial close is completed on schedule and in compliance with process criteria, which includes proper journal entry preparation.
Help with the planning of payroll audits and balance sheet account reconciliation
Aid in the creation of budgets and predictions
Handle intercompany transfers, AP invoice resolution, and check requests.
Oversee the yearly fixed asset assessment and plan the capitalization of new assets.
Help in coordinating the requirements for both internal and external audits
Compile monthly sales and use tax returns and fulfill other documentation needs.
Through transaction reviews, administration and review/approval of time reporting, inventory cycle count audits, HFI/OSM inventory reviews, fixed asset physical inventory, administration of fixed assets, and inventory cycle counts, you can make sure that plant staff is according to ARPNA policy and that financial data is accurate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA/MBA a plus) and / or 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance as Plant Accountant (or equivalent) in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrates an awareness of all elements of plant’s financial statements
Ability to multi-task, reprioritize, and meet strict deadlines while working under pressure
Sound problem solving and analytical skills
Strong IT systems aptitude (Excel, SAP, BPC, Word, PowerPoint, ect.)
