Your Impact: Job Description:

This position will be responsible for working on a technical support team and the daily duties will require assisting in software deployment, troubleshooting, and some systems administrative duties dealing with software development SOX controls. This person will work in a team environment (with a lead mentor) to perform requirements gathering and analysis, troubleshooting, application configuration tasks, reference table configurations, set up users with access permissions for various functions, application development for minor change requests, scripting, software debugging, source control, application testing, preparation of implementation specifications and production application support. Minimum Requirements Candidates must possess a bachelor s degree. Prefer the degree be in the following fields but not required: Computer Science; Computer/Management Information Systems or Mathematics Strong analytical skills Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, analyze, specify, test, and deploy line of business or financial software systems in customer-service focused team environment Utilize advanced user skills in MS Office, including Excel (Pivot Table/Chart, V-look Up, Multiple V-look Up, H-look Up), PowerPoint, and Outlook Work with PeopleSoft Utilize reporting tools such as PS Query and BI Publisher for generating reports Diagnose, debug, and correct programs using Application Designer, Trace, and MS SQL Assist the business team with testing and acceptance testing for development and fixes Document and validate test cases against functional requirements Produce consistent positive results with minimal direction and supervision Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with varying requirements and deadlines Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Here’s What You’ll Need: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Administration (BA) Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Willingness to travel when requested Advanced user skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to assist the business team with testing or acceptance testing for development and fixes Ability to produce consistent positive results with minimal direction and supervision Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with varying requirements and deadlines Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5x
