About Our Client:
Our client is a renowned healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and cutting-edge medical services. Responsibilities:
- Perform histological procedures to prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination.
- Utilize a variety of techniques including embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting of tissue specimens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to quality control standards.
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnician (HT) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a histology laboratory setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
