**Schedule:** Full Time Days

**Shift** : M-F 9am-5pm 1 weekend rotation/ month

**Location:** 400 CELEBRATION PLACE CELEBRATION 34747

**The community youll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration**

Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital

AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disneys planned community of Celebration, Florida

The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease

**The role youll contribute:** **Evaluates and Conducts medically prescribed Speech Language pathology treatment programs.**

**** **Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform speech language, cognitive and swallowing skills**

**** **Designs and Implements a treatment plan of care utilizing Practice Standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines and patient's needs. Monitors patient response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate.**

**** **Documents and Charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department /hospital policy and procedures**

**** **Provides discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow-up services**

**** **Oversees the care provided by therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards**

**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:**

**Minimum qualifications** :

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

A license or provisional license in the State as a Speech and Language Pathologist

**Preferred qualifications:**

Certificate of Clinical Competence by American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA)
