Make decisions on appropriate action to take regarding the need for further investigation. Adhering to internal BSA Compliance SAR team procedures by documenting the summary of investigative findings (e.g., thorough notes supporting decisions, including copies of supporting documents such as statements/checks, media search results, results from internal system searches, etc. as needed).Ensure all investigative tasks are completed on a timely and accurate basis, including the necessity to meet established federal and internal timelines and standards.If management deems it necessary for workflow, cross-training on the processes associated with preparing investigative cases for review and approval by management, including preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) to be submitted to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).Participate in exams/audits by assisting in gathering of data for regulators, auditors, and quality control reviewers.Performs all other duties as assigned by management.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo supervisory responsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
