Hardware Engineer

Pay rate $64.51/hr

Job Description / Contractor Requirements:

The ability to work collaboratively with excellent written and verbal communication

Build and move racks

Manage the hardware equipment in racks and perform software updates.

Insure the equipment is running optimally for the engineers as they use the equipment for testing.

Day to day duties / work hours: Metro carts with developer devices which require configuration. Transfer of devices and conducting health checks.

Ideal candidate in terms of background and/or experience Things that will make a candidate successful in this role: candidate having had previous experience as an engineering technician.

Top required skills: understands data center/infra, and is technical

All Nice to have's: able to run simple scripts, hands on troubleshooting triaging organically NOT scripted, Mac OS, 2 years of experience.

Soft skills: Proactive, Able to work in ambiguity, Thinking outside the box.
