Project Manager

This role is part of the Operations Engineering department, located in Broomfield, CO, with a hybrid work model (onsite 2 days/week for employees within 40 miles) or remote within Colorado. Pay Range $74,000 $125,000 per year Title and Level Project Manager Level P4, Exempt, FLSA. Purpose Project Manager responsible for resource management, project schedules, communications, task coordination, and budgeting for mission?critical public safety projects and programs. The role supports the on?time delivery of ingress traffic for originating service provider (OSP) connections and next?generation 911 programs. Responsibilities Plan, lead, facilitate, track, communicate, and complete deployment activities for assigned customers within scope, budget, and timeline. Oversee OSP ingress tasks, coordinating with carriers, validating trunk groups, designing routing, and establishing interconnection agreements. Lead project and technical update status meetings in customer?facing environments, often managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ensure timely provisioning and testing of ingress paths from originating service providers. Collaborate with engineering and carrier teams to manage number porting, call routing, and signaling configurations. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets with cross?functional teams. Identify, track, and manage risks and issues that could impact cost, schedule, or quality. Communicate project plans and updates to internal and external leadership. Develop program and project playbooks, SOPs, and documentation to support standardized planning. Work with vendors, operations, program management, and product management to define requirements and deliver incremental plans. Resolve internal and external issues efficiently, minimizing impact to other teams. Implement ISO processes for repeatable workflow, records, and metrics. Coordinate resources and vendors for flawless execution. Monitor progress, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Maintain project charters, status reports, change requests, and close?out reports. Conduct post?project evaluations and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement. Requirements Experience with telecom carriers, ISPs, and infrastructure vendors. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCC, ITU). Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities. Proven experience managing complex internal and external deployments and software projects. Proficiency with project management tools (MS?Project, ClickUp, Confluence). Familiarity with 911 and NG911 call flows. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Leadership, organizational, and planning skills. Adaptability and ability to prioritize and allocate resources in a fast?paced environment. Quality orientation with strong attention to detail. Team facilitation, motivation, and building experience. Competency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Qualifications Four?year college degree or five years of 911 or telecom industry experience. Four years of experience managing external customer deployments or software projects with direct customer interaction. PMP certification preferred; if not, expected to achieve within one year.
