**Senior Buyer**
Job Title: Senior Buyer Location: Cheshire This specialist manufacturer of bespoke equipment for use in chemical industries are now looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team in Runcorn.
Within the role of Senior Buyer, key responsibilities will be: -
* Negotiate supply contracts, ensuring delivery of purchased materials, manufacturing and services.
* Play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategy, identifying longer-term opportunities and business risks.
* Play a active role in procurement process improvements.
* Support the Procurement Manager to identify and deliver procurement cost reduction initiatives.
* Lead the project manufacturing cost review process.
* Track purchasing costs throughout the life of each project.
The successful candidate will: -
* Have purchasing experience gained within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
* Be highly numerate with good communication skills.
* Have excellent negotiation skills.

* Salary circa 45,000
* Pension scheme - 11% Employer Contribution
* Company Bonus up to 15%
