Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to transcribe and communicate approved provider's orders at a level normally acquired through a high school education. Participates in ongoing education relative to the role as defined. License/Certifications: Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and be on the State of Maine Registry. Experience: CNA experience 0 - 6 months. On-the-job training provided. Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations. Interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information and maintain a courteous relationship with patients, families, visitors, and practice employees. Knowledge of standards, policies, procedures, and organizational structure of the practice, Maine Medical Partners, and Maine Medical Center. Ability to excel in a team-based care environment. Maintain personal and professional records that include evaluation and validation of clinical competence/proficiency, continuing education, and any certification or verification of special skill sets. Skill in time management, problem-solving, multitasking, prioritizing, and medical care coordination. Ability to maintain a professional manner. Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
