Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: 1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Massachusetts . 2. Satisfactory CORI background check. Preferred: N/A Experience/Skills: Required: 1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical nursing. 2. Knowledge of medical , substance abuse and mental health nursing. 3. Demonstrates proficiency in completing electronic documentation in compliance with grant requirements, agency, state, and federal guidelines and policies. 4. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, staff, and providers. Preferred: N/A Unless certification, licensure or registration is required , an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments . The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description . Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents. I II. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions: 1. Must be able to move about the space periodically during the shift. 2. Must be able to stoop, crouch, kneel or crawl for various reasons 3.
