**Dining Room Server (PT, Variable shifts)**

**Primary Function:** Under the close supervision of hostess is responsible for creating an enjoyable, dining experience for residents and their guests. Follows established style and order of service while serving in the main dining room and at special functions. Performs assigned side jobs. Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations. Maintains a neat and clean appearance.

**Qualifications:** Basic knowledge of dining room service, sanitation, and safety procedures. Possesses the ability to follow instructions, work well with others and maintain a good rapport with residents. Is respectful to all management, coworkers, and residents. Refers all problems to supervisor and is able to accept constructive criticism.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Follows rules concerning personal appearance and work performance.

2. Keeps dining area clean and quiet while residents are in the area.

3. Is quiet and attentive while at line-up, in-services, and other instructional situations.

4. Remains in assigned area. Does not visit with other personnel while on duty.

5. Reports to work on time and in full uniform.

6. Begins works as soon as time clock is punched.

7. Is willing to help when own job is finished.

8. Is responsible about knowing schedule, call outs, and finding a replacement when needed.
