110k to 125kJob DescriptionOur client is a Tier I and II supplier to the automotive industry and currently has a position of Plant Controller available at their plant located about an hour West of Chattanooga, TN. The successful candidate will have experience working as Plant Controller, Financial Controller, Accounting Manager or similar within a manufacturing environment previously. This position will involve working at the manufacturing plants as well as having the opportunity to work hybrid perhaps 20% to 40% of the time. Occasional travel between two southeastern plants may be required, but not frequent. Initially seeking local candidates within 30 miles of Winchester, TN.Our client offers a comprehensive benefit package, competitive wages, 401k with employer match, paid vacation, paid holidays, education reimbursement program, wellness program, and corporate sponsored team-building events.QualificationsDuties include but are not limited to the following:Responsible for all financial aspects of the accounting systemResponsible for transactions of supporting subsystems to the general ledgerPrepares monthly production manufacturing and tooling financial reportsWorks closing with Operations Manager to insure Financial and Quality KPI's are on targetPrepares internal reporting as required by managementEnsures internal controls are in place and followed for financial reporting purposesResponsible for account reconciliations and adequate supportResponsible for the general ledger account analysis as directed by the CFOLeads annual budget and monthly forecast developmentParticipates in tax compliance and reportingPrepares schedules to support review by CPA firmEstablishes burden rates for various departments or processesReviews all accounts receivable, payable and payroll accountsCaptures and tracks delinquent purchase ordersReviews accounts receivable and payable agings and works toward balance reductionAny additional duties as assigned by supervisionQualified applicants must have a 4-year Accounting degree and a minimum of five years Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.Why is This a Great OpportunityGrowing company with growing opportunities.
