What you'll do:
•Design, implement, and launch POS retail solutions at scale with a focus on high Operational Excellence.
•Integrate devices with POS solutions, ensuring seamless communication and high operational performance.
•Work extensively with device APIs and vendors to rapidly integrate and optimize device performance, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and security.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that accommodate multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.

What you'll bring:
•Strong expertise in Java, with a deep understanding of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, multithreading, and concurrency.
•Proficiency in Java 8, with hands-on experience utilizing its features such as lambda expressions, streams, and the new date/time API to write efficient, maintainable code.
•Demonstrated ability to write tech debt-free, high-quality code that adheres to SOLID principles and clean code practices.
•Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions with high scalability, reliability, maintainability, and optimized for performance.
•Expertise in third-party API integration, including handling authentication, rate limiting, and error handling, ensuring seamless communication with external systems.
•Familiarity with device integration, including working with device drivers, performing firmware upgrades, and ensuring device compatibility and performance within the POS ecosystem.
•Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to ensure that solutions are robust, reliable, and ready for production deployment.
•Make Operational Excellence a first-class priority from design to implementation and post-launch support. Ensure that solutions are built to scale, with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
