Assists with annual financial audit.Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effect on costsAnalyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of standard costs to actual production costsDevelops and implements a process to monitor and control site spendingP&L - Monitors forecast to AOP and provides corrective actions if not meeting AOPPerforms capital expenditure justification analysisPerforms inventory analysis - obsolete, slow moving, cycle counting programDrives POV (Production Order Variances) improvementsOverhead KPI's and trending analysisPartners with key plant management in performing cost reductionProvides and analyzes information requested by top Senior ManagementEducation/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field, Master's degree preferred8-10 years relating accounting, finance or equivalent experience; prior experience in a manufacturing environmentProcess improvement skills to continuously work to improve the cycle time and quality of accounting and financial information relied upon to run the business and meet external reporting requirementsAbility to evaluate operations performing below corporate guidelines to make the improvements required to attain acceptable performancePossesses outstanding planning/organizational skills and time management skillsDemonstrated knowledge of accounting principles/policies and GAAPKnowledge and proficiency in ERP systems, SAP preferredDisclaimer: This job description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
