Direct Supervisor: Theresa Paul, Business Manager
Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 4:00pm (7 Hour Workday)
Lunch break is from 12:00pm-1:00pm

The purpose of this written job description is to provide clarity of the expectations All Souls Catholic Parish in Englewood has for the above-mentioned position and employee.
While not a complete list, the following are examples of duties associated with this position. Other related expectations, responsibilities, and tasks are required at times. You are expected to be adaptive and receptive to the varying requirements of this position.
This position has the first contact with people who either come into the office or call on the telephone. We are looking for someone who will welcome and invite others into our parish. Additionally, as we are a Catholic parish, it is important that the candidate understands and supports all teachings of the Catholic faith.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communications- Greet visitors, answer phone, respond to emails, and update outdoor signs.
- Mass Intentions- Schedule Mass Intentions and prepare Mass cards.
- Calendar- Regularly add to and make updates to the parish calendar.
- Office and Kitchen Management- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the office and kitchen. Sort and distribute packages sent to the office. Order supplies as needed.
- New Parishioner Registrations- Process new registration forms and update records.
- Sacramental Records- Prepare certificates and record completed Sacraments in the All Souls Registry.
- Charity Referrals- Intake and direct rental assistance and food bank inquiries.
- Security- Ensure all doors and windows are locked at the end of the day.
- Staff Meetings- Prepare and print readings for weekly staff meetings. Present the monthly schedule at calendar staff meeting.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Writing, communication, and basic computer skills are very helpful.
