Job Description
As an Expeditor at Elevate Entertainment Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to our guests. You will act as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the serving team, ensuring that orders are prepared correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Manage and organize food orders to ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate the flow of orders.
  • Inspect dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before they are delivered to guests.
  • Ensure that all food items meet company standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the kitchen and serving staff. Relay any special requests, modifications, or concerns promptly.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicate any delays or problems to the Kitchen Manager and servers.
  • Assist kitchen staff with plating and garnishing dishes as needed. Ensure that all food is prepared according to the restaurants specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized expediting station. Ensure that all utensils, plates, and food items are properly stored and handled.
  • Work closely with kitchen and serving staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills + Abilities included but are not limited to:
  • High safety, sanitation and food handling standards
  • Able to take direction and work together as a team
  • Work calmly and execute job duties effectively under pressure
  • Hospitality-minded attitude; friendly, outgoing and guest focused
Education + Experience + Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED certificate
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • State Food Handler certificate required
  • Previous experience as a prep or line cook preferred
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
  • Able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motion
