Failure to do so will require your interview to be cancelled.Set Pay Rate: $20.78Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am (Monday - Friday)Job Summary:Performs manual labor associated with daily cleaning and all aspects of maintaining all floor surfaces.Essential Functions:Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specificationsComply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standardsClean all assigned areas in accordance with contract specificationsSweep, dust mop, and damp mop floorsUse wet vacs and vacuums for carpets and tileDetail corners and edgesEmpty and clean machines after useMove furniture/equipment to gain access to floorsMix and measure chemicalsPrepare, use, and care for equipmentPerform preventative maintenance check on equipment before and after useFollow all safety rules and procedures when using any equipmentStrip, seal, wax, burnish, & buff floors; clean carpets as requiredUse low speed and high speed rotary floor machines and ride on floor machinesUse scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, strippers, and extractorsUse wet vacs, carpet extractors, and carpet spottersRemoval trash in specific areas when requiredPass and comply with all building and security requirements and proceduresSecondary Functions:Assist with inventoryPerform general custodial duties as neededClean and maintain equipmentKeep records and provide requested reportsPerform other duties and tasks as needed*Duties, responsibilities, and tasks may change at any time with or without noticePhysical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands:Ability to stand or walk continuously for long periods of timeAbility to go up and down stairsAbility to reach above the head, bend, kneel, stoopAbility to operate controlsAbility to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 - 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditionsAbility to see details on the floor or on surfacesJob Competencies Needed for Success on the Job: Ability to work with limited direct supervisionAbility to follow directions and focus on tasksAble to follow a detailed floor maintenance programAbility to report problems or relate informationAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and with safety always in mindAbility to understand and comply with safety procedures and environmental requirementsAbility to operate machinery without posing a safety hazard to self or othersAbility to use and care for equipment and cleaning supplies properlyAbility to mix chemicals properlyAbility to notice and report changes in work space conditionsAbility to notify supervisor equipment or supplies are needed to perform taskAbility to complete tasks in a timely mannerAbility to attend work regularly according to assigned schedule and company policiesAbility to work a flexible schedule as requiredAbility to attend and participate in training and work related meetingsAbility to deal with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous mannerAbility to comply with all building, security, and company policies and procedures Essential Personnel: This position is designated as essential.
